The La Jolla Half Marathon weekend requires the help of over 400 enthusiastic and hard working volunteers to make it happen. Volunteers provide key support to hundreds of participants as they reach their goal of completing the Half Marathon. There are a variety of fun and exciting positions available, and no experience is necessary to volunteer. Volunteers meet people from around the country and get a unique experience of a large community event.

There’s nothing better than being a volunteer on race day to have a front row seat to the event…and since we LOVE our volunteers and appreciate their donated time, every volunteer receives a coolwater-wicking shirt and a race bag!  Volunteers always receive community service hours and we may have extra goodies, as well.
